В действии идеи Cinemax напоминают Gish, Loco Roco и сказку про Колобка одновременно, причем последнюю - больше всего. Из самого главного меню и до победного конца наш герой делает то, что резиновые мячики умеют лучше всего, - катится. Солидного разнообразия нет (движение вправо или влево, медленнее или быстрее), однако недостаток вариантов компенсируется творческим подходом к их использованию. Если хорошенько разогнаться, можно покорить отвесную стену. Проглотив валяющееся на земле зерно, Гамбой заработает неконтролируемую икоту и способность прыгать; другой бонус надежно приклеит его к любой поверхности, включая потолок. И это не считая особых случаев вроде превращения в морскую звезду или наполненный гелием воздушный шарик. Впрочем, любоваться круглым персонажем, несмотря на богатые функциональные выдумки и регулярные приступы умилительно-сюсюкающей озвучки, не тянет. Поэтому за всех отдувается оформление. Здесь художники постарались на славу. Графический стиль, заимствующий элементы из flash-игры Samorost и советских кукольных мультфильмов, умеренные дозы световых эффектов и большие, яркие спрайты творят чудеса - картинка выглядит непозволительно приятно для обычного shareware и лишний раз доказывает, что 2D еще не умерло.
